Sometimes the statements above seem hard to believe, don’t they? Yet, we have the Truth of God’s Word to remind us that we are awesome!One of my favorite scripture passages is Psalm 139:13-14:
“For you (God) created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (NIV)
YES!!! That means you! That means me! That means all of us! We are God’s wonderful creation. Known. Molded. Formed. Knit together. Touched by the hands of God. God does not make mistakes. We are all created on purpose and crafted for purpose. Regardless of our bad decisions or messy lives, we are precious gifts from God. Join our Circle and join me as we explore what it means to be a child of God…a follower of Christ…and a redeemed soul. We are meant to live in community. . . to support, to encourage, to act as one body. “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5 (NIV)
Our lives impact so many other lives…like ripples in the water…spreading out into the world. Sometimes we have no idea who we are impacting by a single act or kind word. My hope for this site…this Circle of Friends…is that we begin to know each other more deeply through the Gallery and the Posts. I want this to be a safe place for you, so…how do we do that?
